Portraits update!
Posted in Art, Worst Idea Ever on 12. Nov, 2009
I had a largely unproductive week last week as far as getting things done, despite having things in the queue that needed doing. I have been able to make up for it quite a bit this week, below are the newest portraits I’ve done.
There is one portrait that I feel needs more work. My friend who commissioned it said it was great, and I am sure she believes that, but with these more recent pieces, I feel like I have found a style I want to stick to, and I really want to do my friends up right on this, so it’s back to the drawing board for me. I should also have a video up tonight or tomorrow to join the rest of my training progress vids.
If you’d like to get a portrait commissioned, there are currently two options:
- 35$ or more gets you one head and shoulders portrait, with a simple background.

- 50$ or more gets you two head and shoulder portraits, OR one full body portrait, again, with a simple background.

If you have an idea that is outside the box, I would love to discuss what you have in mind, and customize a price based on what you need. Please feel free to email me at drew.gilbert@gmail.com and we can hash it out. Thanks!
