My First Workout
Posted in Worst Idea Ever on 15. Oct, 2009
So I went up Pilot Butte the other day. Here’s how that went…
Not exactly a shining moment for me, but there needs to be many more of these before I will feel ready for Tough Guy. I wore a garmin device, and the readout when I came back was bleak. Below is the chart, with the red line showing my heart rate while the green line shows my elevation:

Clearly my fitness is a work in progress. Expect more videos from my experience as it progresses.
This will become repetitive, I am sure, but bear with me on the pitch here:
If you hadn’t heard by now, I am raising money to run the Tough Guy race in the UK in January, and I am looking to reach a goal of $3500, with the money going towards the race, and Free Arts NYC, a non-profit program providing arts programs for kids in New York City. I am also offering to do portraits for anyone who donates $35 or more, so if you are looking for very slick, professional vector portraits done on the cheap, (Holidays are fast approaching, wink wink nudge) then please consider helping me out in executing what is surely my Worst Idea Ever.
If you’d like to get a portrait commissioned, there are two options:
- 35$ or more gets you one head and shoulders portrait, with a simple background.

- 50$ or more gets you two head and shoulder portraits, OR one full body portrait, again, with a simple background.
