Introducing: UNDAD.COM

So I haven’t been around in awhile, I hope you can understand I was a little busy on returning home from the Tough Guy race, taking care of the wife in her last stages of pregnancy, along with introducing my first son into the world.

Cole has been all I had hoped he would be for Christine and I. It’s been amazing watching this little dude soak up his surroundings and grow, mentally and physically over the last six weeks. I have enjoyed being a father so much, I decided to create a separate place to talk about the process, and thoughts about fatherhood in general, so I would like to introduce to the world, UnDad.com (Yes I am a zombie enthusiast).

CAAFFFEEIIINE!

I launched it last week, and has been really fun for me to work on, and the response has been way better than I should have expected for a blog in it’s first week. I look forward to exploring what it means to be a good father, husband and man in general there.

Here on Drewgilbert.com, I want to start posting a series of “Essential Things” this week, talking about items I have aquired that I think are essential to me, items I expect to last a long time without needing to be replaced. I was without a project after Tough Guy, and had wanted to do a 30k run here in Oregon this month, but training was not realistic with everything going on with Cole, so until I figure out the next wacky thing to try, I will go back and alternate between “Essential Things” and going back in time to recount the wackier things I have done.

I hope you continue to get a kick out of what you find on Drewgilbert.com, and I hope you will enjoy UnDad.com as much as I am as well!

Nice website. I am inspired to start something like this.
I am also glad you stuck with art, and made it a career. I gave it up shortly after our high school art days…
