I don’t know lullabies
Cole really likes being sung to, which is no surprise, as I have a velvety smooth singing voice*. The problem? I really don’t know any kids songs, lullabys, what have you. When push comes to shove and I really want to win him over, I have resorted to singing this:
I reallty… REALLY need to learn some more songe before he can start singing this back to me.
Hey parents, what are you singing to your kids?
*Just kidding. I sound very much like Kermit the Frog when I sing.

we sing a lot of Dave Matthews, Coldplay, and U2 to the poor boy
We sing twinkle, twinkle little star, the wheels on the bus, head, shoulders, knees and toes, too many monkeys jumping on the bed, and we make up a ton of songs. Nicholas seems to like it, I don’t think it matters what you sing, you could probably sing baby got back to him and he wouldn’t care as long as it’s you guys singing to him.
I sing all of the above and ants go marching, From time to time I also used to sing the melodies of my favorite songs with my own words about our days together…..it makes the kids smike still!
Ah past that stage now where I would listen to any song available other than their favorite two songs on repeat 24/7 so long that you catch yourself humming it in your sleep. O Brother Where Art Thou is a great movie too by the way.
