That really is classic. Took me a while to get it down, if only I had duct tape.

TRUTH. For moms, too. We actually resorted to laying him on one end of the blanket and then rolling him up in it like a burrito. He liked it…
LOL! You’re so funny!
I need to catch up on missed blogs here… will real soon!
This absolutely cracked me up. And made me very thankful that my kids are way too old for swaddling.
Rock on with your bad duct tape self!

Too funny! Friends of ours even gave us a DVD “Happiest Baby on the Block” and no matter how you wrapped our son you ended up with one of his arms sticking straight up out of the swaddle… we called him Houdini

Thanks guys! We had this nurse in recovery who was a third degree black belt at swaddling, as soon as I saw her work her magic on Cole I cooed “Oooh THAT.” and have been hard at work trying to mimic it since.
@mamabean – I’m so glad someone got that, I was thinking maybe it was too subtle, but I’m sure anyone who has swaddled knows the headache of doing it too low at least once:)
@Treva – Oh dear, that’s frickin’ hilarious. We call Cole our little burrito.
Baby burrito! Husband would also call him The Mummy.
A friend of mine stopped by once when baby Sid was having a fussy moment, and she said to him, “Oh, you poor thing, you can’t move your arms! No wonder you’re upset!” I thought, I can’t wait till you have a baby. You have much to learn, grasshopper.
